Next Big Event!

Hey everybody here is news on the next big event. I haven't blogged so I hope to get better about it and keep more up to date!  The big event coming up on August 27 is called the Chocolate Blues Business Networking Festival. It will give me a great chance to network and promote and sell my books from an audience of hundreds of people. Possibly hook up with publishers who might be interested in publishing my next book! Hopefully future update will be more up to date

Magic Things Happening Here?

They pride themselves on providing a magical experience for everybody but yet they are not following through on that promise. When I was little they did a better job of following through with that promise. They had the Fast Pass a way for people with disabilities to zip through the lines. I think they are forgetting what made them who they are today. I think they should go back to the recipe that made them famous in the first place which is providing for everyone no matter who they are. This will make it a magical world for everybody once again! If they don't go back to the earlier recipe it will hurt them more than they realize!

Illustrations for newest book JT's Big Day have begun!

Hey Everyone!
 I have just passed the story of JT'S Big Day on to the illustrator and am very excited! I will be even more excited to pass the completed book on to you!  The targeted completion date will be July 13th! As  soon as I begin to see the beginning illustrations I will find away to pass them on to you so you can follow along  with the exciting process too!  Get ready!

Almost Here!

My newest book  is almost here! The second book in the Disability Gang series is "JT's Big Day" dealing with the subject of Autism. Stay tuned for more exciting news!

Presentation at Licensed Family Child Care Association!

Exciting News I have been invited to the next monthly meeting in March of the Licensed Family Child Care Association! This will be a great honor and another chance to get my word out on disability education! I hope finds these event news as enjoyable as i do in participating in them!

There will also be an  American doll club event, along with the Hearts and Horses organization and The Dangerous Boys Club. This will be an event for the whole family!  Hope to see ya there!

Exciting news from Estes Park!

Hello Carlos Bloggers!
In November I presented at the ECCLC (Early Childhood Council for Larimer County) and the response was so positive that I have been invited to a similar conference in Estes Park! This is very exciting news and I will fill everybody in with more details in the future stay tuned!

From Research into Book Form!

I am about ready to embark on the task of putting my research onto paper!  After that it won't be research it will be JT's personality profile. If you have any ideas on JT coming to life speak now or forever hold your piece. Now comes my favorite part of the whole process. I will dispense my knowledge of autism through JT and hopefully my portrayal of autism through JT will be everything people will have hoped for.

New Book Research!

I am learning alot about autism that is the subject for my newest book in the Disability Gang Series Book 2. One thing that keeps popping up and I think this plays a factor in many lives is the need for repetition!   We all have things we want to do the same way all the time or watch something the same time everyday and we get bent out of shape if this is disrupted. My thing is I could have gone to a movie today but it would have disrupted time at my favorite coffee shop.My point is we all have more in common with the Autistic community than we are aware of some
may choose to ignore we are one and the same some are better at hiding it.

Artisan You!

Hey there is a great local place if you want to make your own creation  or unwind after a day of work or get together with a group of friends. This place is called Artisan You! you can paint pottery or do glasswork all sorts of creative outlets. You can volunteer which is what I do or make your own creations. Volunteering also entitles you to 20% off anything you would like to do! Check it out it's a great place run by friendly people!

I have branched out into a new line of Disability Education! My new series is called the Disability Gang and features a different character with a different disability in each book. The first book in the series is called "Abby Goes to the Farm" and is about a blind girl named Abby who goes to the farm and all the exciting sensory experiences she has meeting all the animals at the farm! The next book in the series will be about Abby's friend named JT who has autism.The book right now its in the beginning stages so stay tuned! Any suggestions are welcome for more books about disabilites!
